The Mob Wife color palette

Mink, gold, lipstick, champagne, and noir. How to use the Mob Wife palette without a real fur coat.

Dark brown, gold, red, champagne, and black fabrics with a leopard-free still life

Evening colors in daylight

The Mob Wife palette is Mink, Gold, Lipstick, Champagne, and Noir. The search spiked with faux fur and a red lip, and it still describes a glamorous, unapologetic wardrobe.

Noir and Mink are the coat and the trouser. Gold is jewelry or a button, not a whole suit of metal. Lipstick is the red, on a mouth or a shoe.

Champagne does the softening

Champagne is the blouse, the knit, the warm light. Without it the palette is only black and red.

One gold object is the rule already used in the outfit note. A second gold object is when the look starts shouting.

Old Money is the quieter neighbor

Old Money uses Ivory, Camel, Forest, Claret, and Navy. Claret can look like Lipstick until the rest of the outfit is navy and camel.

If the pictures are tailored and quiet, that palette fits better. If they are glamorous and a little too much, this one does.

Questions

Is leopard required?

No. Mink, Gold, Lipstick, Champagne, and Noir can carry the style. One animal print is plenty if you want it.

How is this different from Old Money?

Old Money is ivory, camel, and navy, worn quietly. Mob Wife is gold, lipstick, and a louder cut of the same evening.
