The Balletcore color palette

Pointe, slipper, satin, lavender, and white. How the Balletcore palette stays soft without becoming Coquette.

Pale pink, satin, lavender, and white cloth folded like dancewear

Soft pinks with a job

The Balletcore palette is Pointe, Slipper, Satin, Lavender, and white. The search usually starts with a wrap top, a tulle skirt, or a satin ribbon that looks like practice clothes, not a party.

Pointe is the pale ground. Satin is the deeper pink for one piece. Lavender is the cool break.

Wear the colors like practice clothes

A wrap, a knit, a flat shoe, and one ribbon use the palette without a tutu. Leg warmers are optional and easy to overdo.

White is the tight, the shoe, or the collar. It should look clean, not bridal.

Coquette uses a different pink

Coquette pinks are Petal, Ballet, Rose, and Berry, usually with lace. Balletcore pinks stay closer to dancewear and a smoother cloth.

If the ribbon is the whole outfit, read the Coquette note. If the wrap and the shoe are the point, stay here.

Questions

Is Balletcore just pink?

Pointe, Slipper, and Satin are three different pinks. Lavender and white keep the palette from being one shade.

Where does a bow fit?

A small ribbon can be Balletcore. A bow on everything, plus lace, is the Coquette neighbor.
